Despite the colder temperatures with snow and ice The pre spawn walleye bite is starting to pick up on the east side of the Columbia River.   I have been averaging 2-6 nice fish each trip using jigs and worm harness rigs. It is that time of year where you can catch your biggest Walleye ever like my client from Wisconsin yesterday or that state record. The big females are staging for the Spawn which will happen when the water temp reaches 48-50 degrees. It is running at 36.4 today which is going to allow great fishing the next 30-45 days. Dates are limited so book the date for your next adventure. Fishing  1 1/2-3 hours from PDX air port.
